Trixie and Zorro's puppies
Trixie and Zorro were taken from horrid conditions by FWAC and picked up by GALT on May 1, 2007. Zorro was the only male on the confiscated premises. Trixie arrived heartworm positive, positive to Ehrlichia, and pregnant - however her pregnancy was not immediately detected because she was so thin. Within 2 1/2 weeks of her arrival, it was apparent after a sonogram that Trixie was carrying at least 6 puppies...and on June 5 she gave birth to 8 pups – 4 males and 4 females, but 2 females were stillborn. So please meet Tony, Essie (aka Esther), Ashley, Teddy (aka Tank), Cole, and Luke.
