The Greyhound Adoption League of Texas was represented by some of its West Texas members - Bob and Teresa Conner, Kyle Jones, Lonnie and Marian Jones - at the Pampa Fine Arts Association~Chautauqua in Pampa, Texas on Labor Day, September 1, 2008.
Adopted GALT greyhounds Prima, Nice Guy, Paula, and Emma (aka Omega), along with adopted West Texas former strays, Mia, Argos and Valentine stood in as ambassadors for all the available greyhounds that are waiting for their forever home. Each hound took turns dazzling (working) the crowd with its greyt personality, looks and excellent pet qualities. Questions about the breed were answered and information about adoption and fostering was well received.
