Annie, aka Akins Alice, is a seven-year-old, red fawn female, born May 27, 1999 to sire, San Tan Rampage, and dam, Coldwater Alison. Annie's racing career spanned 65 races, all held in Florida. She was adopted several years ago but due to family circumstances, Annie was recently returned. Her foster mom says that Annie is a sweetheart and does very well in the house. Annie is cat tolerant.

Annie is a petite fawn female. At only six her face is white, but don’t let that fool you. This is a bubble of energy. In the morning she likes to burst through the dog door jumping up and down like a kangaroo and welcome the day. If a car happens to go by during this time she barks a cheery hello! She is a healthy eater and is not food or toy possessive. She loves attention – your basic love muffin. She does not jump on furniture, but if asked she would likely oblige and sit very close to you. She could easily be trained to stay off furniture if you prefer. She is wonderful around other dogs and is very well behaved with cats. Annie comes from a home with small children (her previous family decided that their household was too busy to give sufficient attention to Annie). That environment is probably where she has learned her patience and yearning for personal attention.
