GALTX

I met Mikey April 24, 2005. He was in such poor condition. He had a terrible case of bordatella. He could hardly walk, broken toes on both front paws. He was bruised all over. I'll never know what happened to him. His once black face was already gray. He lost one toe. We discovered he had pins in all of his right front toes. He had a short tail and was missing part of an ear. I had the privilege of seeing him become a healthy, happy boy maybe for the first time in his life. His dark brindle coat became shiny. He couldn't run, but we walked every day. In people time our time together was far too brief. You learn from each dog. I learned a lot about how stoic and strong our beautiful greyhounds really are.

I miss you big guy.
