Dewey is a young fawn male who was picked up as a stray by the Midwest City, OK shelter. He came to GALT from there just in the nick of time, as he was scheduled to be euthanized the next day. He is estimated to be 9 months old and is not tattooed. His DNA results show that he's a Greyhound / Retriever / German Shepherd mix.

Dewey's cat test was inconclusive - like the puppy he is, he wanted to play rough, and the cats didn't appreciate it. He does do well with small dogs.

Dewey is a delightful 10 month old greyhound mix. He is a cheerful fellow, and has certainly never met a stranger. He is fond of car rides, chasing balls, and snoozing in the sun. He is learning the basic commands of sit, shake, down and go to bed. He is fully potty trained, and will go into his crate easily. He will do anything for a cookie. Dewey enjoys being around all people, and loves other dogs of all sizes. He has not been around small children yet.
