Ginger is a sweet, petite red fawn who came to GALT as a stray via Fort Worth Animal Care and Control. She is estimated to be 6 or 7 years old and is still underweight after living on the streets for an unknown length of time. Ginger quickly grabbed the hearts of all the kennel workers and GALT volunteers. She is very quiet and calm, but she is beginning to enjoy her "TLC" time and now eagerly greets us when we approach her run with a leash in our hands. This dainty female will remind you of a little deer fawn, but she also has an adorable "frog pose" that will make you giggle.
Ginger's Cat Test:The cat certainly brought out the feisty in Ginger! We had high hopes, but when Lila trotted across the floor, Ginger start chasing. When Lila told her to back off, Ginger was startled at first, but she went back for more. There was audible snapping behind the muzzle. Lila got some tasty treats for her participation.
