Ima, aka I'm On Tonight, is a 7 ½-year-old red fawn female born October 15, 2000. Her sire is Greys Statesman and her dam is Sly Minda. Ima has 69 races on her record beginning in Dubuque, Iowa, on April 27, 2002 and ending at Dairyland in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on April 12, 2003.

Ima had one litter of puppies and is now ready to leave all that behind and enjoy her retirement. She is cat trainable.

As you can tell, "I'm On Tonight" is not a proper name for such a lady, so "Ima" is more fitting.

Ima – novice at living in a house. Although I've only been in a house for a few weeks, my manners are very good. Occasionally I forget and check out what's on the counter, but I respond to "no" and move on. I also respond to my name (pretty, isn't it?). I really haven't needed much correction since I don't get on furniture or do much of anything wrong. Originally I was crated, which is only OK. I prefer to be confined to the bedroom during the day with the other dogs. It's more comfortable. Easy does it when introducing me to new dogs. I prefer that everyone not rush me at once. As soon as we are formally introduced, I'm fine.

Ima – lady. Although not a tiny female, I have a very feminine look and a delicate manner. I love to lay in the back yard in the cool grass. I pick up toys and carry them around but I am not rough with them. I've been told that house shoes are not toys but they seemed similar. I'm just learning. I sleep quietly on a dog bed a night. I love human attention and will sometimes push the other dogs away (ever so gently, of course) so that I can get the attention.

Ima – good girl. I potty outside. I'm a quiet girl in the house (except when you first leave and I have to give a few high-pitched yips to let you know that I prefer that you stay here). I jump right into the car and lie down immediately and ride quietly. I walk well on a leash (and I wait patiently while you hook the leash on my collar). Although I've had 22 teeth pulled, eating is not a problem (and I'm neat of course). Kibble with water on it will suffice. All the dogs in the house are fed in different places so none of us argue about food (I probably wouldn't anyway). I take treats gently (which I really like).

Ima – beauty. Just look at those beautiful big brown eyes with the permanent dark eye liner (saves makeup time because I always want to look my best). My fur is so soft and I'm a buttery color.

Ima – cat trainable Greyhound. I was curious, but like everything I do, my curiosity was restrained. I sniffed the cat quite a few times (I think that is permissible) and Dom wasn't terribly fond of that, so I said "All right, I can take a hint. It isn't nice to smack a guest." There were other things in the house (including other greyhounds) that needed my attention. Even when the cat jumped off the table and walked around, I was only mildly interested. I'm sure I'll need some work with cats, but I learn quickly. I haven't had the opportunity to meet a little dog yet.

I'm hoping you'll come see me soon. I'll wait patiently for you to let my foster mom know when. It will be nice to meet you.
