FOR ADOPTION | ADOPTED ATHLETES Glory, aka Itsa Hooter
Glory came into our life by accident. While working at Houn House, Susie asked if we could stay just a little bit longer, she was bringing in two more dogs and didn't know if they would be needing baths or not. The more I looked at Glory, the more she resembled our first adopted Grey (Di). Well, no wonder she looked like her - it was her MOM! I called my husband and his first words were "No, we don't need another dog". Well, two days later we were at the McKinney Ave Tavern for a meet and greet and here comes Susie, "Oh... I hear you are taking Glory!" My husband's first words were "How can we not take her, she's Di's Mom."
We are still fostering at this time, but she has worked her way into our hearts and I don't think I'm going to be able to let her go. I've made a pact with husband as to how long I have to wait to keep her. She is sweet, loving, funny, and such a gentle dog. She loves to be with her humans and her doggie siblings. I'm sure that one day soon her photo will have "Adopted To Her Forever Home." If not by us then by some other wonder family. Ardith and Stephen Couey |
