Timex

Timex is an 8-year-old brindle male. He arrived from the same source as Stetson, Onyx, Blade, Cupcake, Harry and Carbon. Unfortunately Timex, like the six others, is also heartworm positive, and he is also carrying a heavy load of intestinal parasites. Treatment for Timex will have to wait until a foster home is available. Results from the tick panel performed by Protatek are pending at this time. Timex is tattooed; however his tattoos are being researched at this time.

Timex is not cat tolerant.

UPDATE 4/2/12

Timex's tick testing came back negative to Babesia canis, Ehrlichia canis, Lyme but a very low positive titer to Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever for which he is being treated. Timex received his first round of heartworm treatment of March 22. His foster mom is keeping him very quiet during this time. He will receive his second round of heartworm treatment which consists of two injections 24 hours apart around April 23.
